Hand poured in small batches in Arlington, Wa. Hometown Candle Co. was founded by Tina and Russ Richardson. The town name idea came from the immense pride they both continue to have of the small Pacific Northwest towns they grew up in. In 2017, they opened a shop in Old Town Arlington so they could hand pour small batch premium soy candles on site for their customers. Over time, customers were requesting their own town names outside PNW borders and the candle line expanded to customized labels!

All candles made by Hometown Candle Co. are 100% Soy with no chemical additives, dyes, or stabilizers. Because all our candles are made using natural organic products and contain no ultraviolet stabilizers, in bright sunlight (or direct sunlight) or under florescent lights they can turn yellow or have a natural color of the wax fade. This does not change the scent or degrade the candle in any way.
Trim your wick to 1/4" before each burn. Allow the melt pool to reach the edges of the container before extinguishing. This is roughly 3-4 hours for our 9 oz candles. The rule of thumb is 1 hour for each inch of the container's diameter. This will allow the candle to burn cleanly and evenly. Candles have a memory so if you extinguish it too quickly, you may experience tunneling. Limit burn time to 4 hours to preserve the length of the candle.
